Jim Beard has a comprehensive Autocom installation site (including
CB) on his K1200LT webpage at: http://www.angelfire.com/ar2/jfbeard/autocom/autocom.htm
Cons:
- Placement of helmet speakers is
ABSOLUTELY critical to get good sound quality
- Placement of mic directly in front
of mouth is ABSOLUTELY critical to get accurate VOX operation
- Doesn't allow simultaneous use
of CB and FRS
- CB installation may be problematic
on a bike powered CB (potentially a lot of electrical interference
noise)
