Is it just me...or when you first open the BMW>NET site, does "Our Moose" look (for a nanosecond) like he is wearing a white cowboy hat?

In reply to: You may be hard pressed in that respect Connie. I went into Daytona BMW yesterday (I have been intentionally staying away) and saw all three newbies. I really like all of them but the R1200RT is really what I would go with, if I were to sign anything on the dotted line. I am not a sport bike rider but, the KS is very sweet. The RS is good as well but , the RT is a miniature LT now with all the bells and whistles of it's big brother! I keep telling myself NFW! NFW! NFW! I do get to ride one thru the Alps this summer tho he he he |

I just saw the three new ones in Scottsdale this AM, but am really in love with the red R1100S sitting on the floor there. Gotta go back to Phoenix next week, maybe I'll take a test ride.

I know Connie...this is frightening. I am really fightin the desire to get on this bike and take it for a test ride. It's gonna be hard enough to ride it in Europe on the trip. At least I know I won't be able to buy one there and ship it home. Finances just won't allow that.
