Here is a nice day route. Breckenridge is just below highway 6 in the upper corner - head South on 285 and take Highway 50 west over Monarch pass then the North Rim of the Black Canyon - nice ride. Don't bother w/ the South Rim (blech) but North Rim is great. Go through Crawford - where Mad Dog used to be - head North on 133 almost to Glenwood Springs then take 82? East to Aspen then Independence Pass then North back to I-70.
One thing on 133 - I just noticed long stretches of 45 MPH speed zones - no idea why as this is a 70-80 MPH road. I don't know if they just changed them or if I have just been ignoring speed limit signs for to long FWIW: I ride this road at least 4-5 times a year and have NEVER seen an LEO on 133 (usually I hit this stretch about 1-2ish PM on Saturday). Hwy 50 on the other hand......better fire that V1 up!
Typing this I am practically drooling....you know where I'll be this weekend!
