Whew! Home again

Just a note to say Connie and I returned Friday after two wonderful weeks on the road. Only 4k of flawless miles, and 30 days crossing Kansas! Highlights included the St. Geneveve ferry south of St. Louis, and all the states east of the Miss. River we visited. Hot, but wonderful. Major highlight was having Mr. Eagan handing us a very cold bottle of water after arrival at Park Vista. That and every detail of the entire CCR event was flawless and fun and educational and full of great people we'd like to call friends.

Thank you to all of the volunteers that made this event special and perfect. It took bunches of planning and execution, and it showed. Thank you all.

To Randy Prade, who always gave credit to the volunteers, a special thanks. You made it happen, and kept a tenuous "organization" between the fence rows for another year, plus bigger and better.

I will continue to post thoughts as time goes on, but most of all, wanted to make sure the volunteers know that this is one of many couples that know when an event and travel plans, and lodging and registration and meetings and on and on are well planned and work, and we thoroughly appreciate it.
